David K. Lee, M.D.

Dr. Lee graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Buffalo. After receiving his medical degree at New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, he completed his General Surgery internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of South Carolina, where he also served as chief resident. After his residency, Dr. Lee completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California, where he assisted the team physician for several professional teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Dodgers, LA Kings, Anaheim Angels and Anaheim Mighty Ducks, LA Galaxy and University of Southern California. He is the former team physician for Columbia Inferno, Presbyterian College and Newberry College and is currently the team physician for Batesburg-Leesville High School.

He specializes in all aspects of knee, shoulder and elbow surgery from minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to total joint replacement.

Subhash J. Patel, M.D.

Dr. Subhash J. Patel graduated from Sardar Patel University and Baroda Government Medical College, both located in Gujarat, India. After completing his internship at R.E. Thomason General Hospital in El Paso, Texas and his Orthopaedic residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC, Dr. Patel completed a hand surgery fellowship at Duke University in Durham, NC.

Gregory S. Lavigne, M.D.


Medical School: Albany Medical College, Albany, NY

Residency & Total Joint Arthroplasty Fellowship: Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA

Board Status: Certified

Board certified in orthopaedic surgery, Gregory S. Lavigne, MD, graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in NY. After his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Dr. Lavigne completed a Total Joint Arthroplasty fellowship there.

Most recently, Dr. Lavigne has served as the attending orthopaedic surgeon at Allegheny General Hospital, specializing in adult reconstruction and lower extremity trauma. This includes complex hip and knee revision, infections, computer-assisted and navigated surgery (traditional navigation and MRI/CT guided), fracture care, corrective osteotomy, and percutaneous and minimally invasive plating.
